Our story so far…

Focus was established as Iceview Health and Fitness - a start-up company in July 2002. Within our first fours years of business, we have surpassed many of our targets, expanded our facilities and programs, and established our quality by winning the 2003 Hills News Small Business Award for Outstanding Fitness Centre and becoming a finalist in the Champion of Champions for Fitness Centres across NSW.  

We have also won the 2004 and 2005 Hills Shire Times Award for Best Fitness Centre and the most prestigious Hills Excellence in Business Award for Excellence in Small Business Enterprise in 2005 and 2006.

We have sponsored numerous athletes, teams, schools and charities. Growing from a staff of 3 to 14, we foster a friendly, happy environment for all staff and members.

Our business was located inside the Glaciarium Ice Rink, which went into liquidation in 2004. We have grown and prospered despite the bad publicity surrounding the Glaciarium and now have moved to our new premises in the NEXUS buliding across from the Crowne Plaza Norwest on Columbia Court.

Throughout our history our greatest strength has been our service and programs and the strength of the relationships that this builds with our clients. Even when we were in an ominous position with the ice rink our membership did not falter. Our service and programs will continue to improve for the benefit of our members and our business. We believe our unique approach will lead to better results for our members and drive us to becoming recognized leaders in our industry. We believe we can be "the" alternative to larger fitness factories and believe our product and programs can be developed nationally and internationally. Our team is committed to the constant development and progress of the business for the benefit of all stakeholders - members, staff, shareholders, and the communities we reach.
