BOOT CAMP & NIGHT PATROL

OFFICAL DOCUMENT - MISSION BRIEFING AND UNIT ORDERS

BRIEFING:

[Photograph]: Individuals working out.Focus Boot Camp's first mission began in November 2005. A surprising number of soldiers have returned for additional efforts and we promise to make the challenges new and exciting. For new recruits don’t panic. You will be supported by experienced troops and you will fit into the camp in whatever capacity you are able.

You can expect physical and mental challenges. Some tasks will be a surprise. Things you can expect are some running, outdoor terrain, body weight exercises, push-ups, sit-ups, fitness testing, push-ups, pull-ups, push-ups, walking, crawling, SWEAT, punishments, and the beloved BEAUTIFUL PAIN!

TIME:

We will see you THREE times per week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at no later than 0525 hrs for roll call.

Alternatively - NIGHT PATROL's Major Madsen will see you TWO times per week Tuesdays and Thursday nights at no later than 1800 hrs for roll call.

LOCATION:

We will rendezvous at POINT 1 - out the front of Focus Norwest, B1, 4 Columbia Court, Baulkham Hills. The missions take place around Norwest Lake, Bella Vista Waters, Norwest Business Park, and other TOP SECRET locations. There will be all kinds of terrain, some uneven ground, and situations you may not normally encounter.

EQUIPMENT:

Bring comfortable and light exercise clothing although it is a good idea to cover your legs with three quarter pants. Towel and water bottle are a necessity. Insect repellant can be a good idea for amphibious missions.

PRECAUTIONS :

[Photograph]: Team exercising. It is a good idea to do some exercise BEFORE Focus Boot Camp however it has been done plenty of times by deconditioned recruits. If you are carrying any injuries into Boot Camp, you should make your leaders aware of such injuries and where possible use strapping and taping to prevent further damage. The terrain will at times require caution and you knowing YOUR LIMITS.

FIRST AID:

Basic medications for asthma and breathing problems, etc. should be carried on your person. You will be accompanied by qualified first aid medics. In the event of exhaustion or minor injury the meeting point would be POINT 1 for those injured and their helpers (We mention this only as a precaution and have not had to utilize POINT 1 for this reason to date). In the event of an emergency, you should know that an officer will be carrying communications at all times and all locations.

RULES:

You will learn your unit rules as part of your training. Any breach of these rules is punishable.
