Ryan Fraser
From me you can expect a range of experiences from good fun to seriously hard training. I love my job - being a health and fitness leader - and believe my role is to challenge my clients more than they would challenge themselves to achieve their health and fitness goals. I understand health and fitness and fun means different things to different people but there is nothing more motivating than getting fantastic results! I have a very diverse sporting background and diverse sporting interests but an overall passion for health and fitness and challenges of most nature. I train national level athletes and seventy year old nanas and know the same principles will work for any one in between. No matter where you are at you can always improve for the benefit of yourself and those around you. Maja Madsen
I train hard and expect my clients to do the same. My specialty is weight loss but I also run boot camps and train strength & muscle and health & energy clients. People always say I am harder than I look - and I take pride in the fact that I can design great sessions for anyone and I always see great results from my clients. I am a Certificate III and Certificate IV qualified personal trainer and a Director at Focus. I love doing free weights, boxing, boot camp and love to challenge myself and others. Sarah Magi
Hi, I’m Sarah Magi, and I moved to Sydney from Canada over 7 years ago to explore the great land down under! I have now come to call Sydney home and love it here, but I’m still not "a happy little vegemite" (how can you eat that stuff?) I have over 17 years of personal experience in the sports & fitness industry. I am a qualified Certificate III and IV Gym Instructor, Personal Trainer, and Thump Boxing instructor. My favourite programs are functional fitness based with the focus on improving overall tone and strength. I enjoy keeping fit & healthy, running, going to the beach, and reading. My most inspiring book is the Bible, and I’m passionate about what it says about your health and well-being. I love my job and seeing people’s lives transformed by the power of a changed lifestyle. I count it an honour and privilege to help people see the benefits and joys of taking care of their bodies by keeping fit and healthy! Anita Whelan
I am a qualified Personal Trainer, Yoga Teacher and Massage Therapist, making me a great all rounder when it comes to fitness, relaxation and recovery! As a trained actor, with a strong history in and enjoyment of physical activity, I’ve studied subjects that improve physical awareness, such as Movement, Feldenkrais, Alexander Technique and Meyerhold. Finally, a background of martial arts (6years of Hap Ki Do Moo Hak Kwan) contributes to a valuable insight into mind and body. All of this training and experience add up to a philosophy of happy is healthy – you get your ‘self’ fit and your body will follow.

Mike Searson
Hey my name is Mike, and I;m the token male at Baulkham Hills. I was born and raised in the area - an Oakhill College boy! I am a qualified Cert IV personal trainer as well as an AUSTSWIM Instructor. My favourite exercise would have to be boxing and any form of resistance training. I believe life is all about balance, and therefore, I enjoy a lifestyle balanced around going out and working off the night before back at the gym! I’m the wannabe musician in the Focus crew and love being the centre of attention, so the sound of playing my guitar and singing in front of a huge crowd is right up my alley. Koula Kallis
I’m Koula - the maturest of the Focus crew. I feel as young as the rest because I believe exercise can make you feel younger and give you more energy. I have lived in Australia my entire life, but come from a Greek family! My goal in life is to help people achieve their health and fitness goals. I believe that you are never too old to set goals and try something new. I have completed my Certificate IV in personal training and a certificate in Kickboxing. My interests outside the gym include spending quality time with my family, reading, listening and dancing to Greek music.
