What to bring
Please make sure that all your child’s belongings are clearly marked with their name.
- For arts and crafts it is essential that your child bring a painting smock or old over shirt to protect their clothes from paints/glue etc.
- (Optional) A small snack and drink. We ask that you avoid snacks such as chocolates, lollies or nuts for safety (and health) reasons.
- A bag for their belongings. Snacks, nappies, warm clothing etc.
- Pram or stroller for children under 3 years.
- Spare nappies and a change of clothes for those "just in case" moments.
- We advise that no valuable items should be left in your children’s bag.
- With regards to food and snacks, we ask that all children be fed before they come to Snowflakes. For your convenience there is a kettle and a microwave available in the child minding room.

Nappies
- All children still in nappies must have a clean/dry nappy when they arrive at Snowflakes.
- Parents must change nappies on the change table provided. Please dispose of soiled nappies in a plastic bag and bin provided.
- If you are toilet training your child, let us know, but please make sure they have been to the toilet before they come into Snowflakes.

First Time
This may be one of the first times that your child has been away from his/her parents and it can be a bit daunting especially in a new environment. We will do our best to settle your child, but if they become too distressed we will have to come and ask you to assist in calming them. If your child takes some time to adjust we would recommend that you start with shorter time frames to allow them to feel more comfortable.
SNOWFLAKES is about having fun and creating an atmosphere where your children want to be. We are not a childcare center but we will endeavor to hold our standards above and beyond your expectations. To help us have everything running smoothly we ask that you keep this sheet and refer back to it throughout your time with us at FOCUS and SNOWFLAKES. We thank you in advance for your co-operation and appreciate any feedback or concerns you may have.
