Nutrition and fat loss covered with these two Apps

As a personal trainer I get people asking me about different diets (there is no shortage of choices for consumers) so this post covers two apps that can completely control your nutrition and help you lose fat and gain health and fitness without having to pay for an expensive “diet” (when ALL diets are proven to be unsuccessful in long term weight maintenance.

Before I mention the apps – I have to say this. If your diet is based on a product or products (like isagenix or body trim or weight loss coaching works) – then you are being sucked in by marketing hype and paying more than you need to. Optimal nutrition is based on natural food.

These two apps help you manage your natural food to support your goals:

1. MyFitnesspal: Lose weight the healthy way

They and I believe — and medical studies prove — that the best way to lose weight and keep it off forever is to simply keep track of the foods you eat. Gimmicky machines and fad diets don’t work, so this app provides website and mobile apps that make calorie counting and food tracking easy.

2. The Complete 5:2 Diet

Intermittent fasting is a safe and sensible way not only to lose weight but also to transition to a healthier way of eating. Unlike the deprivation associated with full fasting, the 5:2 diet allows for reduced-calorie meals two days a week. On the other five days, you meet your recommended caloric intake with the help of a variety of healthful recipes. This approach is also heavily backed by medical research to not only help weight loss and maintenance but also also a numbers of disease risks and health factors.

These are not the only two strategies that work for people but they work very well for anyone who applies them.

Health and happiness, Ryan.
